MaxLift: PR & Gym Tracker (formerly PR AI)

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Overview

MaxLift, formerly PR AI ("the app"), is developed by Sindre Sørensen. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app stores, where it is stored, and how it is used.

The short version: your workouts stay on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud. MaxLift has no account, no server of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code. We do not receive your workouts or any other data about you.

What MaxLift Stores

MaxLift stores only what you enter into the app, and what it needs to work:

We do not receive any of this, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, location, health data, or device identifiers. MaxLift does not ask for permission to use your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, Apple Health data or notifications.

Data Storage and iCloud

All your workout data is stored locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, it is also synced between your devices through your personal iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit service and the app's private iCloud container. This means:

MaxLift can be woken in the background when iCloud has new data from another of your devices. This is a silent update from Apple's iCloud service; MaxLift sends and shows no notifications. Apple handles iCloud under Apple's Privacy Policy.

What MaxLift Does Not Do

Data on Device

The app uses fixed on-device rules to analyze your workout data and provide progression recommendations. This analysis happens entirely on your device and no workout data is sent to external servers.

If you tap Share on a program analysis, iOS opens its share sheet and the text goes only where you choose to send it.

Subscriptions

MaxLift offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions for premium features. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app asks Apple on your device whether a subscription is active. We do not collect or store any payment information.

What Apple Sees

Apple handles downloads and purchases through the App Store and may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics about downloads and sales. These do not identify you.

Data Deletion

You can delete workouts, programs and custom exercises inside the app. Deleting the app from your device removes the data stored on that device. To also remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage and remove MaxLift data. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children's Privacy

MaxLift is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
