Frequently asked questions

I bought the app before it was free β€” do I have to pay again?

No. Everyone who bought Disc Golf Scorecard Pro while it was a paid app keeps every Pro feature permanently, at no cost. The app checks this with Apple by itself the first time it runs after updating; you do not have to restore anything. If Pro does not appear, make sure the device is signed into the same Apple Account you bought it with and open the app once while online.

I bought Pro and it is not showing on my other device

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so any device signed into that account can restore it. There is nothing to pay a second time.

How do I enter scores?

On the scorecard, tap + once to record par for a player, then keep tapping + or βˆ’ to adjust. Scores are color-coded automatically: aces, eagles, birdies, pars and bogeys each get their own color.

Can I change the par of a single hole?

Yes. Use the βˆ’ and + buttons next to β€œPar” at the top of the scorecard to adjust the current hole, from par 2 up to par 7.

Can I fix a score after finishing a round?

Yes. Open the finished round and tap the pencil in the top right to go back to the scoring screen. Correct whatever is wrong and tap Save. Standings and statistics update to match.

How do saved courses work?

Every course you play is remembered along with the pars you finished the round on β€” not the ones you set up with, so a par you corrected on the third hole is the one that comes back next time. Start a new round and the course appears at the top; tap it to fill in the name and every hole's par at once. The same happens with the people you play with.

What is the Lock Screen card during a round?

That is a Live Activity. While a round is in progress it shows the hole you are on and who is leading, so you can check without unlocking. It ends by itself when you finish the round. If you do not want it, turn off Live Activities for the app under Settings β†’ Disc Golf Scorecard Pro.

How does iCloud sync work?

Your rounds sync automatically through your private iCloud account. Make sure you are signed into iCloud on all your devices and that iCloud Drive is enabled for Disc Golf Scorecard Pro under Settings β†’ your name β†’ iCloud. Sync requires no account with us β€” it is entirely between your devices and Apple.

My rounds are not syncing between devices

Check that both devices use the same Apple Account, have iCloud enabled for the app, and are online. Changes normally appear within a minute of opening the app. Sync can be delayed when a device is in Low Power Mode.

How do I delete a round?

Swipe left on any round in the list and tap Delete. This removes it from all your synced devices.

Does the app work offline?

Yes β€” everything works without a connection. Rounds recorded offline sync to iCloud the next time you are online.

Which languages are supported?

English, Norwegian, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese.

Requirements

iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18.6 or later. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island card needs iPhone. Nothing else is required β€” no account, and no connection except for iCloud sync.
