Pet Medication Tracker
What the app does with your information, in plain terms.
- Effective
- 28 July 2026
- Applies to
- iOS & iPadOS app
- Controller
- frekvens.ai
- Contact

The short version
We do not collect your data, because there is nowhere for it to go. The app has no server of ours behind it, no account system, and no third-party code inside it.
- 00Analytics or tracking tools in the app
- 00Advertising or marketing SDKs
- 00Third-party libraries of any kind
- 00Accounts, logins or passwords
- 00Requests to servers we operate
Your records live on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage. We have no way of reading either.
What the app stores
Everything you enter, and nothing you don't:
- Pet details — name, species, breed, date of birth, notes, and a photo if you add one
- Medications — name, dose text, form, schedule, and supply figures if you track refills
- Doses — when each was due, when you recorded it, and whether it was given, skipped or missed
- Optional records — weights, symptom notes with an optional photo, vaccination reminders, and vet or pharmacy contacts you save
- App preferences — weight unit, snooze length, whether reminders are on
The app never asks for your name, your email address, your location, your contacts, or anything about you as a person. It asks about your animal.
Where it is kept
- On device
- The primary copy lives in the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad, protected by the device's encryption and passcode.
- In your iCloud
- If your device is signed in to iCloud, the same records sync through the private database of the CloudKit container
iCloud.ai.frekvens.Pet-Medication-Log. That storage belongs to your Apple Account. Apple's terms govern it, and we cannot read it, list it, or recover it — a private CloudKit database is not visible to the developer. - Not signed in
- The app falls back to storing everything locally and works exactly the same, minus the syncing. Settings shows which mode is active.
Nothing is copied to any server operated by us, because we operate none.
Permissions the app asks for
- Notifications
- The only permission requested. Used to remind you when a dose is due. Every notification is composed and scheduled on your device — nothing about your medications is sent anywhere to produce one. Decline it and the app still works, it just will not remind you.
- Photos
- No photo library permission is requested, even though you can attach a picture to a pet or a symptom. The app uses the system photo picker, which runs outside the app and hands back only the single image you chose. The app never gains access to your library.
- Phone
- Tapping a vet or pharmacy number you saved opens the dialler with that number ready. The app never places a call by itself.
Purchases
Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card details, your billing address, or your Apple Account.
The app asks Apple whether the current Apple Account owns Pro, and gets back yes or no. That answer stays on the device.
Apple later gives us sales reports that are aggregated and anonymous — units sold per country per day. Nothing in them identifies a buyer.
Deleting your data
- One record
- Swipe to delete a pet, a medication, a dose, a symptom or a contact inside the app. Deletion is immediate.
- Everything
- Delete the app from your device. That removes the local copy in full.
- The iCloud copy
- iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, find the app, and delete its data. You control this directly; we cannot do it for you and cannot see whether you have.
Because we hold nothing, there is no deletion request to send us and no copy of yours for us to keep after you leave.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age. It is rated for general audiences and contains no advertising, no social features, and no external links except this website and Apple's own subscription management.
Your rights
Rules such as the GDPR give you the right to see, correct, export and erase the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to disclose or erase.
The practical equivalents are all in your hands: view and correct records inside the app, export them yourself as CSV or PDF at any time, and delete them as described above.
This is not medical advice
Pet Medication Tracker is a record-keeping tool. It does not diagnose, does not give veterinary advice, and never calculates or recommends a dose — the dose shown is the text you entered from your own prescription. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this policy ever changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and any change that affects what the app does with your information will be described in the release notes of the version that introduces it.
