ReptileFeed collects no data.
What the app stores, and where
ReptileFeed stores the reptile profiles, photos and care logs you create. This data lives in two places, both controlled by you:
- On your device, in the app's private storage.
- In your personal iCloud (Apple's CloudKit private database), so your log syncs between your devices and survives a new phone. This data is tied to your Apple Account; we cannot read, access or recover it.
Deleting a reptile deletes its entire history. Deleting the app and its iCloud data (iOS Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage) removes everything permanently. There is nothing on our side to delete, because nothing is ever sent to us.
What the app never does
- No analytics or tracking of any kind — the app contains no third-party SDKs at all.
- No advertising.
- No account, sign-up or login.
- No network requests to our servers — we do not have servers.
- This page loads no external resources either, so reading it told no one anything.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Notifications — used only for the local feeding and care reminders you enable. Scheduled entirely on your device.
- Camera — only when you choose “Take Photo” for a reptile portrait. Photos are stored with your app data and never uploaded to us.
- Photo library — uses Apple's out-of-process picker, so the app only ever receives the single image you choose.
The app also declares a background mode used by iCloud to tell it that data changed on another device. It is a sync signal, not marketing push.
Purchases
ReptileFeed Pro is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; the app never sees your payment details. The app checks your purchase status with Apple's StoreKit framework on your device.
App Privacy label
On ReptileFeed's App Store page, the App Privacy section reads “Data Not Collected” — that is this policy in three words.
Changes and contact
If a future version of the app changes any of the above, this page will change with it, with a new date at the top.
